Everton boss Roberto Martinez won't seek to curb Ross Barkley's natural aggression, despite the threat of suspension.
The midfielder has picked up three yellow cards in his last four games amidst some hugely influential midfield performances.
Martinez said: "Those three yellow cards are not because of his make-up; he is not that type of player.
"When you arrive in the starting 11 you want to keep your place and you are eager to help the team and sometimes you can over-do things.
"He has been sensational and given everything he has."
