Everton boss Roberto Martinez was pleased with their performance for last night's 4-1 friendly win at Accrington Stanley.
Darron Gibson, Victor Anichebe and Kevin Mirallas had the Blues 3-1 ahead at half-time. Leon Osman's header midway through the second period made the winning margin even more emphatic.
"It wasn't about winning or losing," Martinez told evertontv.
"It was about having a good attitude and approach. We used the game for a good physical exercise.
"The professionalism was outstanding. It was really good to see the fans enjoying what turned out to be a really good workout."
