Everton boss Roberto Martinez says new signing Aiden McGeady isn't ready to start.
The Republic of Ireland winger had been marginalised by Spartak Moscow before a £500,000 move to Goodison Park last week.
But Martinez said: "He has done no group work for six weeks, so it has been like a mini pre-season for him going to Tenerife. It has helped him to get to know everyone.
"He will be available for the squad. He is not someone we can expect 90 minutes from at the moment, but I feel he is ready to be part of the squad."
