Everton boss Roberto Martinez believes skipper Phil Jagielka is in career best form.
Martinez is now urging the defender to make the most of his performances.
He said: "His performances have been terrific. He's at his peak in terms of it doesn't get any better than being the captain of Everton when you are an Evertonian and follow the club.
"I think this is the best moment of his career. On the pitch, he's someone in good health. He's got an incredible intelligence and he's such a gifted footballer.
"He's so quick and that allows him to defend in great positions. He's great in the air. He's got everything.
"I do see him in one of those moments as a player that he can't get any better. So it's time to enjoy it and make sure he can be consistent with what he's doing at the moment."
