Everton boss Roberto Martinez insists there's been no contact from Manchester City for Ross Barkley. The 20-year-old England playmaker only signed a new four-year contract at Goodison Park in July and Martinez accepts he will have to deal with talk over Barkley's future even if there is nothing to tell.
"I don't think there is anything to comment," Martinez said. "It's a rumour and we'll leave it there.
"We have spoken in the past about potential interest. We'll take it as a footballing compliment, we just want him to enjoy his football and help the team. Have we had any enquiries for Ross? No."
