The Mirror says Martinez has asked about Robertson’s availability, as he considers a deadline move to bring the 19-year-old to the Toffees.

The Goodison chief watched Robertson recently and originally saw him as a long-term target.

But Bryan Oviedo's broken leg injury has forced Martinez to bring his plans forward.
