Everton boss Roberto Martinez won't rush the Premier League introduction of Gerard Deulofeu.
The on-loan Barcelona winger made his debut in their Capital One Cup win over Stevenage.
"I think you saw today what he is - an incredible talent," the Blues boss told evertontv. "When he got on the ball, the crowd were off their feet. He gets you excited.
"He is still a young man who is getting used to the physicality of the English game but I thought the crowd was magnificent with him from the start to the end.
"If we continue to do that we are going to give him the perfect environment to develop and grow."
