Everton boss Roberto Martinez admits on-loan Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu has had to learn to work harder off the ball.
Martinez is enjoying working with the Spanish whizkid.
"Remember he has never been asked to track back or do those roles," he says. "That's why it's so different playing for Barcelona and going into the normal world.
"You want a winger to be fresh on the ball but in the modern game you have to be a defender when you don't have the ball and an attacker when your side is in possession.
"Gerard is a perfect example of someone who relies on raw talent and can break any defensive set-up through pure quality.
"I felt it would take at least until January or February but actually he's ready now."
