Everton boss Roberto Martinez is confident of landing his transfer targets.
Everton signed Gareth Barry on a permanent deal last week, are hoping to tie up a long term deal for Romelu Lukaku and have a number of other targets in their sights.
"The targets that we have are there," Martinez told the Liverpool Echo. "They are very well identified so from the fans' point of view they should be happy watching our progress pre-season, looking at the youngsters we have at the football club and the real strength that we have which is producing youngsters and the opportunities we can give them.
"We are going to carry on doing that. But I am very very confident that when the transfer window closes we are going to be prepared and we are going to be ready to face what I see as one of the most exciting seasons we have had for a long, long time.
"We are going to embrace playing in Europe, We don't see it as a reward or a prize, we see it as an exciting competition that we want to do well in.
"For that we need the right numbers and we need the right continuity in the squad."
