Everton boss Roberto Martinez is happy over Chris Long's loan move to Brentford.
The striker made the switch yesterday.
"It's an important period, I think Chris is ready for that role," he said. "I always felt, in pre-season when he came and joined the first team, that he has something special; that knack of making the right run and decision and scoring goals out of nothing.
"Brentford do things right and are very structured and are having a god season and it will benefit both, from an experience point of view it is as good as it gets. They look after young players and that is what we are looking for in this relationship."
