Everton boss Marco Silva: Richarlison must accept this club's expectations

Everton boss Marco Silva is delighted with their deal for Richarlison.

Richarlison made his first appearance for the Blues as a second-half substitute at Blackburn Rovers and made a promising start to life at the club.

“You are talking about a young player but, like you know, he had a fantastic impact when he came (to Watford) for the first four or five months, and he had a lot of games in his legs as well," Silva told the Liverpool Echo.

“He didn't have enough of a holiday, he played for 16 or 17 months in a row without a holiday. But now he had his rest and is ready to come here.

“He needs to work hard because it is not easy to play in this club, it is a big club, he needs to understand the pressure here but I am sure he is ready to play and to improve and to help our squad."
