Everton boss Ronald Koeman feels for Craig Shakespeare after his sacking by Leicester City.
Shakespeare had previously stated every top-flight manager was four games from a crisis.
Koeman said: “Four games from a crisis? Maybe I am in the crisis!
“Everybody knows in football the manager's job is a really difficult job. Things change really fast.
“We know most of the time the managers don't get really the time to improve the team.
“I feel sorry for Craig because I think he did a really good job. He took over from Ranieri and saved them in the Premier League last season.
“It's hard to take for the managers but it's part of the job."
