Everton boss Koeman on Dutch TV: Media and fans see everything negative

Everton boss Ronald Koeman insists he won't consider quitting after Sunday's thrashing by Arsenal.

Koeman is adamant he remains the right man in charge.

He told Holland's Ziggo Sports: "Arsenal was the better team.

"We had problems with Alexis Sánchez's role . Our goalkeeper (Jordan Pickford) did well. It was 1-1 at halftime, then we changed something. After an attack from us, they had a chance on the counter attack 1-2."

The Dutchman will not throw in the towel.

"It was not the last straw, not from my position. It's logical that you and the supporters think so, they see everything negative. Everton is too low and we get too few goals. That's what happens, the only thing I can do is continue to work hard."
