Everton boss Koeman insists Lukaku will hit goals trail

Everton boss Ronald Koeman insists Romelu Lukaku will soon hit the goals trail.

Lukaku eventually kicked off his campaign from the bench at West Brom a week ago, helping his side to a comeback win from 1-0 down.

Yet he also missed a hatful of chances in Tuesday's 4-0 EFL Cup romp against Yeovil, looking anything but the £75million forward Everton rated him at.

Koeman, 53, insisted: “I don't look backwards about Lukaku and what he did last season because that's not my problem.

“My problem is now and he didn't score at West Brom, when he had one big chance.

“Of course, he had some good chances last Tuesday but I'm not worried about that. Maybe if he doesn't score in the next then ask me that question then."
