Everton boss Ronald Koeman could have the inside running for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Van Dijk has joined the same stable as Koeman.

The Sunday Mirror says the coveted centre-back has parted with Henk-Maarten Chin to join the London-based Wasserman Group.

And the belief in his native Holland is that he will be reunited with Koeman on Merseyside after working together at Saints last season.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are also monitoring the £25million-rated Van Dijk, who joined Southampton from Celtic for £13m in 2015.
