Everton boss Ronald Koeman is delighted with the progress of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Calvert-Lewin was signed from Sheffield United in the summer in a £1.5m deal and went straight into the under-23 squad.
But the forward has now broken into the first-team and Koeman believes it is just the start of a “big future" at Everton.
“We know he's a talented young player and he's done enough sessions training with the first team to show his quality," Koeman told the Liverpool Echo.
“He's young but strong. He can play as a number nine or more wide. He had an impact in the last 10-15 minutes (against Arsenal) which is good because it's always nice for a young player to make his debut.
“He needs to improve but he's a good boy who likes to work hard and learn. He's listening to every member of the staff and he has a big future coming up at Everton."
