Everton boss Ronald Koeman is delighted with the attitude of Kevin Mirallas.

Everton were willing to listen to offers for Mirallas on transfer deadline day as he looked for a way out of Goodison Park, but ended up knocking back all approaches.

“He's OK," said Koeman. “I spoke to Kevin because I knew he was looking for something else.

“When it didn't happen during the transfer window, we spoke about this situation.

“He's doing well.

“He's what a player needs to be and training how a player needs to train.

“It's all about technical decisions."
