Everton boss Ronald Koeman is looking to bring Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin to Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mirror.
The France international played under Koeman at Southampton before joining United in a £25million deal last summer and according to the Mirror's report, Koeman will jump at the opportunity to sign Schneiderlin if he becomes available in the summer transfer market.
The 26-year-old's future at United is far from certain following Jose Mourinho's arrival at the club with several reports claiming that Mourinho wants to bring Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic to Old Trafford.
Schneiderlin made a total of 39 appearances for the Red Devils in 2015/16 having joined from the Saints prior to the season.
