Everton boss Ronald Koeman is chasing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Telegraph says the Everton manager is weighing up a £20m move for the France international.

Schneiderlin has found himself on the fringes at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho succeeded Louis Van Gaal in May.

And Bastian Schweinsteiger was even given the nod ahead of him from the substitutes' bench in Wednesday night's EFL Cup win over West Ham.

The 27-year-old is said to be one of a cluster of players Manchester United chiefs are expecting interest in when the transfer window reopens.
