Everton boss Koeman concedes slow Klaassen and Sandro start: They can follow Mkhitaryan example

Everton boss Ronald Koeman concedes Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez have had a slow start to their Goodison careers.

Manchester United's playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan struggled in his first season in English football, regularly finding himself on the substitutes' bench.

But he now looks like the creative number 10 United have craved.

“Yes, Klaassen and Ramirez need time. They need time to adapt," said Blues boss Koeman.

“I heard stories about Mkhitaryan who needed a full season to understand and to improve and he is a fantastic player. Maybe yes, it's too many new, young players who need time - and with the fixtures that we have they will punish you if you are not ready."
