Everton are chasing Manchester United pair Wayne Rooney and Memphis Depay.
The Sunday Express says the Toffees are actively trying to land the pair after Ronald Koeman admitted he fancied signing them.
However, United are reluctant to let Rooney leave the club until the summer.
Koeman might have more luck landing Old Trafford misfit Depay.
The Dutchman has managed just 20 minutes of match action all season and is deemed surplus to requirements by Jose Mourinho.
A loan deal could be on the cards and it's suggested Koeman will ask for first refusal on Rooney at the end of the season.
