Everton boss has no intention of losing Lukaku to Chelsea

Ronald Koeman has made it vehemently clear that Everton's Romelu Lukaku is going nowhere anytime soon.

The Belgian striker continues to be linked with a big-money return to former club Chelsea but Koeman insists the Toffees are determined to keep him at Goodison Park.

"I don't comment on rumours. We have discussions with the board and with Steve Walsh, and we want three or four more players," he said of Everton's summer transfer business.

"Romelu Lukaku is still an Everton player and we want to keep our best players."

However, Lukaku is a slight doubt for this weekend's Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, along with key defender Seamus Coleman.

"Lukaku is doubtful because of the cut from the Espanyol game, Coleman also has a problem as well," added the Dutchman.
