Steven Pienaar should not spend too much time on the sidelines according to Everton boss Roberto Martinez.
The South African midfielder sustained a soft tissue injury in the week leading up to Saturday's 1-0 win over Chelsea and has been ruled out for up to four weeks, however, Martinez is confident Pienaar will be back earlier than expected.
"With Stevie, we need to assess him week to week," he told evertontv. "When you get the sort of soft tissue injury he has, you never really know.
"I do feel that Stevie will react well to treatment. He is a very fit boy and I do feel that he will probably be back quicker than anyone expects."
