Crystal Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt is a target for Everton boss Sam Allardyce.
The Daily Star says the pair worked together at Sunderland and the left-back was instrumental in their run as they avoided relegation in 2016.
The former England boss took over at Selhurst Park a year ago and among his first orders of business was to swoop for Van Aanholt in the January transfer window.
Palace splashed out £14m on the 27-year-old and he was part of a solid defence alongside Mamadou Sakho that escaped relegation to the Championship.
Van Aanholt scored twice during the second half of the season and his form saw him start this campaign as first-choice under Frank de Boer.
But since recovering from an injury, he has had to settle for a place on the bench as new boss Roy Hodgson prefers Jeffrey Schlupp.
