Everton boss Sam Allardyce says Cenk Tosun is now proving his knockers wrong.
Tosun scored a brace for victory at Stoke City yesteday.
Allardyce said: “He's adapted much quicker than lots of frontmen coming from abroad into the Premier League for the first time, particularly in January and I think taking him out of the firing line and giving him the opportunity to get to know the players in Dubai and the extra training he's done and we're seeing the full benefit of that now.
“Goals, there has been a bit of a shortfall for us at Everton this season, and if he's going to be the one to get into double figures and turn a game like he did today, then that is going to be great.
“He's the major reason why we won today."
