Seamus Coleman is set to play a competitive game for the first time since breaking his leg last March.
The Everton defender is part of the under-23s squad who face Portsmouth in the Premier League Cup at Goodison on Tuesday tonight, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Coleman suffered a double leg break playing for the Republic of Ireland and has been sidelined since.
