Everton have received an injury boost over Victor Anichebe's ankle knock.

The Toffees teenage striker limped off the field in the second-half of Everton's 1-0 defeat at Reading.

Blues physio Mick Rathbone told evertonfc.com: "Victor landed awkwardly during the Reading match and jarred his ankle. I have had a look at it this morning and it is a minor problem."

This will be a relief to David Moyes who has already lost Vaughan with a dislocated shoulder and is yet to find a replacement for the departed James Beattie.
