Everton, Birmingham target Goodwillie tipped for Premier League move

Reading striker Noel Hunt isn't surprised Premier League clubs are looking at Dundee United attacker David Goodwillie.

Everton boss David Moyes made a personal check on the youngster on Sunday, while Birmingham City and Newcastle United are also interested.

Hunt told the Scottish Sun: "When I look around down here, I don't see too many better young players than him kicking around.

"We've got one or two really talented youngsters coming through the ranks at Reading but I wouldn't say they were as good as David.

"There's been a lot of speculation linking him with Rangers which is only understandable when he you look at the season he's having, with 18 goals already to his tally.

"But to be honest I don't see why he couldn't head for the Premiership because he's that good when you consider his all-round game."
