Everton beat Liverpool, Man Utd for 7yo keeper Yates

Everton have beaten Manchester United and Liverpool to the signing of a new goalkeeper - seven-year-old Harry Yates, reports The Mirror.

Young Harry will sign for the Premier League Toffees after being spotted playing for his school and local football sides.

The aspiring goalie from Heaton Mersey, who plays for his Didsbury Road Primary School as well as local side The Vipers, will meet with Everton manager David Moyes next week to sign a contract with the club.

His parents decided to stub offers from Man United and Liverpool in favour of Everton because they feel he will be given the best care at Goodison Park.
