Everton attacker Walcott: I'm praying Keane okay

Theo Walcott hopes Everton teammate Michael Keane's head injury isn't serious.

After their 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, Walcott said his thoughts were with fellow scorer Keane after the defender was taken off on a stretcher in injury-time following a clash of heads with Idrissa Gana Gueye while clearing a corner.

In his post-match press conference, manager Marco Silva confirmed Keane had been taken to hospital and was hopeful on his condition.

“I'm praying he's okay," added Walcott. “It was a great finish from him for the goal but all the guys will be behind him and hopefully he can recover very soon."
