Everton attacker Kevin Mirallas has hailed the impact of Tom Davies this season.

Mirallas has backed the young Blues midfielder to become an England star.

He told Match of the Day Magazine: “I think he could play for England because he's a very good and intelligent player.

“I think in March it's too soon, but at the end of the season it's possible, if he continues to play this well.

“He doesn't remind me of any other player - there's no other English player like him.

“He's a box-to-box midfielder, has quality to play No.6 and also No.8.

“Everyone was like 'wow' when he scored against (Manchester) City. None of us at Everton have seen Tom score a goal like that in training."
