Everton attacker Anichebe: Nothing to read into low-key goal celebrations

Everton attacker Victor Anichebe says his low-key goal celebration is not a conscious act.

While teammates and fans alike celebrated, Anichebe would often cut a stoic figure after scoring.

"You don't need to read into that, it's nothing," the striker told evertontv. "Part of it is maybe frustration, from being out for so long and not playing, but inside I'm so happy to score.

"It's a blessing every time that you even step onto the pitch and then every time that you score, it's a big blessing from God and from the Club.

"I'm really pleased to score any goal and even to participate. I'm really grateful for it."
