Everton attacker Victor Anichebe doesn't want to become known as a super-sub.

The Nigerian has been in and out of the Everton side this season.

"I can't rubbish the super-sub tag - I always seem to get a goal or something," Anichebe told evertontv. "Whether it's coming off the bench or starting games, I'm not really bothered to be honest, but there will come a time when I'll have to start playing consecutive games all the time, not just coming in off the bench.

"I've been troubled with injuries here and there, so it does limit the time I've had on the pitch. But Everton are great, they've managed me well and hopefully they can get me playing a handful of games from the start."
