Everton have enquired Chelsea regarding the availability of left-back Baba Rahman, according to the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old joined Chelsea in a £14 million deal from Augsburg but failed to make any impact during his debut season in Premier League.

He was subsequently loaned to Schalke 04 last summer but his season was cut short when he suffered an anterior cruciate injury while representing Ghana at AFCON in January.

He is expected to be match fit in August, and the latest reports have suggested that he is likely to go back to Schalke on another loan move next year.
