Augsburg defender Martin Hinteregger is attracting Premier League interest.
The Sun says Everton and West Ham are battling for Hinteregger.
The highly-rated centre-back was outstanding in the Bundesliga last season and his performances have put a posse of European clubs on alert.
Hinteregger,25, is regarded as one of the best young central defenders in Germany and valued at a bargain £13million.
The left-sided central defender is also being tracked by Italian giants Inter Milan who are also looking to bolster their defensive options.
Despite interest from Italy, the Austrian international would like a crack at the Premier League if he was allowed to leave this summer.
