Rennes centre back Kader Mangane is a target for Premier League clubs.

The Daily Mail says the 6ft 4in Senegal international has been compared to former Blackburn Rovers defender Chris Samba and is being courted by five English clubs.

Agent Willie McKay said: "He is tailor-made for the Premier League. He is big, strong, physical and a very good defender. He will do well here."

Mangane has one year left on contract and is rated at £5million. He was wanted by Everton and Marseille prior to joining Rennes in 2008.
