Everton ahead of Spurs in battle for Plymouth youngster Richards

Plymouth's teenage centre half Jamie Richards is wanted by Everton and Tottenham.

The Mirror says Richards is due to go to Merseyside for training next week, with the blessing of Argyle who are looking to cash in on him.

Spurs hoped to clinch the deal for the youngster, but now Everton boss David Moyes has put aside his first-team problems to join the race and make a decisive move.
