Everton are eyeing Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is shopping for a new keeper as he seeks a replacement for Tim Howard. The American is joining Colorado Rapids this summer.

Martinez has added Sportiello to his shortlist, which also includes Steve Mandanda of Marseille, Asmir Begovic of Chelsea and Heurelho Gomes of Watford.

Along with Sportiello, another new name linked with Everton is Valencia keeper Jaume Domènech Sánchez.

Domenech, 25, is behind Diego Alves and Mat Ryan on the keeper's pecking order at VCF.
