Everton ace Ross Barkley admits time for him to man-up.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has told Barkley he needs to step up his game this season.
"I can't be classed as potential any more," he told the Daily Mail. "I know I've got to show what I can do. I've shown it in glimpses throughout the years and, obviously, I want a more consistent performance.
"He (Koeman) expects the best from everyone. Our careers don't last long in football so we need to make the most of it and enjoy every moment.
"The gaffer has said to me he expects another 15-20 per cent to get to the next level, which I'm aiming to get to. I've got to add more goals and assists besides improving defensively, and in the first few games of the season I have.
"I know I'm at an age now where I'm not a kid."
