Everton academy boss Ray Hall is delighted with their two new additions, Luke Garbutt and Femi Orenuga.
In his blog for evertonfc.com, Hall wrote: "As for this term, we've introduced two players to the Academy, Luke Garbutt and Femi Orenuga, and they've added great quality to our squad in different ways.
"Luke has come from Leeds United with a reputation because he's captain of England Under-16s and Under-17s, and all credit to him. He's not only changed clubs, he's come from Leeds where he's been since he was eight years of age, so it's a different culture altogether.
"He's gone in to the reserve team straight away and I think he is coping more and more every game.
"Femi joined us from Southend in March and bedded in quite well. He's probably one of the quickest players I've ever seen. No one catches him, so we've got to work on what happens after that!"
