No-one saw Theo Walcott's World Cup axing - including England coach Fabio Capello!

The Daily Mail says even more embarrassing for the FA than the unselected Arsenal star featuring in suit suppliers Marks & Spencer's promotion, is that he is one of the quartet of players along with Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe and David James who join Fabio Capello for the TV commercial by England team sponsors, Nationwide.

The FA, along with Team England agents 1966, made the player choices, which had added relevance due to Capello's involvement. Nationwide say they intend to keep showing the ad throughout the tournament as Walcott played such a prominent role in the qualifying campaign.
