Blackpool defender Ian Evatt says their recent improvement is due to a few home truths being spelt out on the training pitch.
The Seasiders seemed destined for relegation after a demoralising home defeat to Wigan.
But defender Evatt said: "Maybe we got to the stage where we were looking over our shoulders too much. Other teams' results were affecting us.
"This group of lads will tell each other about problems and tell each other where they think they are going wrong.
"We have got back to being more solid and playing good football again. It was everybody talking on the training ground.
"The gaffer asked what was wrong with us. He said we needed to knuckle down again because our heads were not where they should be. He was right.
"A lot of talking needed to be done on the training ground and we have ironed out a few problems."
