Manchester United defender Jonny Evans says they can't take Southampton lightly today.

Evans, who hopes to make his first appearance of the season following an ankle injury, expects United to be tested by Nigel Adkins' side at St Mary's on Sunday.

"Southampton have lost both of their games but they'll want to do well at home against us," the Northern Ireland international told ManUtd.com.

"I think everyone, especially the teams that come up, will be targeting their home games for points and they'll want to get their season up and running this weekend. So we'll be expecting a really tough game."
