Evans leaves Wolves after 17 years for Bolton job

Wolves youth academy manager Chris Evans has joined Bolton as new manager Gary Megson's assistant.

Evans has chosen to end his 17-year association with Wolves, following former West Brom boss Megson in the north.

Evans told the Bolton Evening News: "My reason for leaving Wolves is to work with Gary Megson, whom I admire greatly.

"The opportunity to work with senior players, in a senior management position, was too good to resist."
