West Brom captain Jonny Evans is in line for a new deal.

Talks are expected to start next month on a new deal worth in excess of £80,000 per week, which would make Evans the highest earner at the Hawthorns, says the Daily Mail.

Evans, 29, has two years left on his current terms but manager Tony Pulis said: "I think everybody at the football club would like to see him tied down. It will be interesting to see what Jonny wants to do.

"It's all about the three parties, as it always is in a transfer, the buying, the selling and the person in the middle."
