Jonny Evans is relishing the fixture pile-up at Manchester United and reckons it helps maintain focus, reports the Manchester Evening News. A key Premier League encounter with Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday and an FA Cup fifth-round tie against Reading eight days later fall either side of a blockbuster Champions League last 16 first leg tie with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
"It is better to be involved in every competition," said the Northern Ireland defender.
"Sometimes mentally, if you have a game and then don't have another one for a week, you switch off.
"When the games are coming thick and fast, you don't get a chance. You are constantly engrossed.
"As far as I am concerned, the more games the better."
