Tottenham Hotspur's Wembley curse in European competitions this season continued tonight.
Spurs had previously lost to Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League before beating CSKA Moscow 3-1 in their final group stage game.
Then tonight, Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw by Gent which saw them crash out of the Europa League 2-3 on aggregate.
The two goals they conceded tonight means Spurs have copped six goals in four European matches at Wembley, as opposed to conceding five in 12 home games at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
And they want to play there again next season…
6 - Spurs have conceded more goals in four European games at Wembley this season (6) than in 12 league games at White Hart Lane (5). Curse.
