EUROPA LEAGUE WRAP: Bad night for Britain
The three remaining British clubs have all been eliminated from the 2010/11 Europa League tonight.
The UK’s great hopes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Rangers all met their demise in the Round of 16 as a trio of Portuguese clubs (Braga, Benfica and Porto), two from Russia (Spartak Moscow and Zenit St Petersburg), two from Holland (PSV Eindhoven), one from Spain (Villarreal) and one from Ukraine (Dynamo Kiev) make up the final eight of Europe’s second tier club competition.
