Europa League success a strong target says Tottenham's Dawson

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson has targeted the Europa League as one of the main goals for the club next season.

Spurs will compete in Europe's second tier competition next term after failing to finish in the Champions League places on the Premier League table this campaign and Dawson says that even though it's secondary, the North Londoners are targeting success.

"We wanted to be in the Champions League but it hasn't happened and when the Europa League starts we will be going out there to win it," Dawson said.

"It's another competition for the fans. The ground, whether it's the Champions League or the Europa League, will be sold out every week."
