Gary Lineker believes hometown club Leicester City will struggle to produce a Champions League finish this season.
The Foxes, under Claudio Ranieri, have surprised all before them by moving to the top of the Premier League standings after 13 games of the 2015/16 season.
But with a tricky run of six fixtures including the likes of Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City, the East Midlands outfit could come back to the pack before pressing on for a possible Europa League place according to former star striker Lineker.
Lineker told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've got a really tough run of fixtures coming up. Realistically if Leicester qualified for Europe that would be a fabulous achievement.
"We've seen a lot of sides have a blistering start to the season then falter. But looking at Leicester we've got a decent squad. We're not just a freak side that's having a good run, they've done it now since early April.
"That suggests there is a terrific spirit in the squad. They are very good on the counter, there is bags of pace, if they can keep key players fit they can qualify for Europe. The Champions League won't happen. But I think Europa League is not impossible."
